The EITS lab in the Main Library is now closed. Use the computers in the Reference Room for Microsoft Office and Internet access. For other computer needs, please come to the Main Library reference desk for assistance.
The entry floors of the Main Library and the Science Library will undergo renovations beginning in mid-May. By fall, both libraries will feature redesigned study spaces, new computers and furniture, and better-designed service desks.
The Libraries plan to maintain our normal Maymester and summer hours, but please expect construction noise as well as the relocation of some service desks and collections.
- Main Library: During the construction period, the Circulation and Reserves desks and office will be moved to the 7th floor temporarily. Current Periodicals and the Leisure Collection will be moved to the 2nd floor.
- Science Library: The Government Documents collection that is currently housed on the 2nd floor will be moved permanently to the 4th floor.
We are very excited about these renovations and will post regular updates on our website. Please contact us with any questions at 706-542-3251 or email@example.com.
The Map Library is closed to the public as of April 19th. Move schedule permitting, we tentatively expect to reopen in our new location in the Main Library by late May/early June, 2012. Regular updates about our move schedule and reopening date will be posted on on the Map Library website.
All reference questions, including questions about collection availability and the move timeline, should be sent to the Map Library’s email address: firstname.lastname@example.org. That account will be checked on a daily basis.
We’ll keep you posted on our progress – wish us luck with the move!
