The Mingledorff-Lorimer Lecture in Print Media Fund presents Glamour magazine editor Cindi Leive delivering the lecture “Magazines From Now On: What Works (and What Doesn’t) in the Age of Twitter and Facebook.” The lecture is at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, in the Special Collections Libraries Auditorium (Room 271).
Under Lieve, Glamour has received a record number of National Magazine Awards, including the top honor, Magazine of the Year. Lieve is also the women’s lifestyle contributor for NBC’s Today show, where she frequently discusses women’s issues ranging from fashion to politics.
The Mingledorff-Lorimer Lecture in Print Media was created by Huldah Mingledorff. Her father-in-law, George Horace Lorimer, was editor of The Saturday Evening Post from 1899-1937.
